When I sat down to create “Again Jesus Has Done It,” my heart was overflowing with gratitude. This song is not just melody and lyrics — it is my personal testimony, my reflection on the countless things Jesus has done in my life, both seen and unseen. I wanted to put into music the kind of joy you feel when God steps into a situation that looked impossible and turns it around with His own hands. That feeling of relief, surprise, and thanksgiving is what inspired this song from beginning to end.
For me, this song is a celebration. A celebration of mercy, grace, healing, protection, and breakthroughs. You know those moments when you look at your life and say, “If no be Jesus, wetin for happen?” That is the spirit behind every line in this track. Many people think testimonies come only after something big and dramatic. But sometimes the biggest testimonies are the small things we overlook — waking up safely, having strength in our bones, seeing another day, feeding and surviving in a world full of storms. Every one of those moments is a reason to say, “Jesus, You have done it again.”

In the song, you’ll hear me use the Igbo word “Omemma” — meaning “The One who does good,” “The One who performs wonders.” That word is special to me. Growing up, whenever elders in the community wanted to describe God’s kindness, they called Him Omemma. It wasn’t just a name; it was a testimony. So when I began writing this track, that name kept ringing in my heart. It became a key part of the message because Jesus has continually shown Himself as the true Omemma — the One who keeps doing good over and over.
Musically, I wanted the sound of “Again Jesus Has Done It” to reflect joy, gratitude, and celebration. The beat carries that warm gospel rhythm with African percussion, soft melodies, and a flow that makes you want to lift your hands even as you nod your head. I sprinkled elements of highlife and Afro-gospel because I wanted the music to feel familiar, like something that reminds you of family gatherings, church testimonies, and those moments when the choir transitions into a praise session that lifts everyone’s spirit.
While recording, I wasn’t just singing — I was worshipping. I wanted my voice to carry sincerity. I didn’t aim for perfection; I aimed for truth. Every line in the song is something I’ve lived, something I’ve survived, or something I’ve witnessed. And I know so many people listening have their own testimonies too. This song is for every person who has prayed silently and seen God move. For every mother, father, brother, sister, or child who knows what it feels like to be carried by grace.
One thing I always try to maintain in my music is authenticity. I don’t want my songs to feel distant or too polished. I want them to feel like home — warm, relatable, and heartfelt. As an artist, my signature is blending simple, heartfelt lyrics with rhythms that touch the soul. “Again Jesus Has Done It” continues that journey. It carries my voice, my experience, my faith, and my cultural expression all at once.
What makes this track special is the message it carries:
Jesus is still working. Jesus is still helping. Jesus is still blessing. Jesus is still doing good.
Even when we don’t see it, He is behind the scenes arranging things on our behalf. And when the testimony finally shows, all we can say is, “Ah! He has done it again.”
This song is a reminder that no matter what you’re facing — delay, disappointment, fear, confusion — Jesus will show up in His own time. And when He does, everyone will know that it is His hand at work. I have seen moments where doors I didn’t knock on opened for me. I have seen situations turn around without explanation. I have seen God use people I never expected. And that is why this song had to be made.
I want listeners to not just hear the music, but to feel the gratitude behind it. To remember the moments Jesus helped them, comforted them, healed them, saved them, and carried them. I want this track to ignite thanksgiving in the heart of anyone who plays it — even if they are still waiting for their miracle, because the same Jesus who did it before will do it again.
So as you listen to “Again Jesus Has Done It,” I want you to join me in that celebration. Lift your hands, move your feet, smile, dance, or simply close your eyes and breathe in the goodness of God. Think back on what He has done for you, and let thanksgiving rise naturally. Share it with friends, play it during devotion, use it during testimonies — let it remind you constantly that miracles are not stories of yesterday. They are happening every day.
Once again, Jesus has done it — and He will keep doing it.
